Calvin Wight

Manager

Favorite Trails: South Fork of Horseshoe to Garns, Lithium

Calvin grew up as a cross-country ski racer in eastern Massachusetts, where he discovered a great way to cross train: mountain biking.  That led him to become a regular at his local shop, picking up parts for his bike.

That caught the eye of the local shop manager who offered him a part-time job which has lead to a long resume of shops after that. Before landing at Habitat, Calvin has lived in the valley for 11 years and worked at local shops including Wilson Backcountry Sports and has even managed a shop in New Zealand.

Calvin Wight

" I was keen to 'save money' by working on my bike in the garage before races using my prestigious degree from the University of YouTube, piecemealing parts and supplies together to make it all happen."

Arden Jacoby

Lead Mechanic

Favorite Trail: Blondie

Born and raised in Teton Valley, Arden isn't just familiar with the trails around Teton Valley, he knows them. Having worked at Habitat since he was a teenager, Arden is passionate about skiing, biking and helping people get out in Teton Valley.

Arden raced for the local NICA Team before going to Colorado for college and returning to the valley. Though he has experience cross-country racing, his true talents are revealed in his choice of his favorite trail.

You don't need to be a ripping rider to be a great mechanic, but it doesn't hurt. As of writing this, Arden still holds the KOM (King of the Mountain) on Blondie at Grand Targhee.
